Dear True Hearers,
Wednesday - July 27, 2011, I will have lived in Chicago a full year by God. I will also be 23yrs old. July 27, 2010 I arrived to Chicago with $200 in my pocket and 2 suitcases. My family back in St. Louis didn't understand why I needed to move so abruptly and didn't have confidence that I would make it. I wasn't sure either, but I came because God told me this is where I belonged now. We fast forward through homelessness, unemployment, hunger, tears, pain, etc. I am here, alive and well! I have food, an awesome job, a place to stay, joy, praise, worship, servanthood, and above all unstoppable faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This journey hasn't been no joke!!! But as I enter my 23rd year of life (looking a little younger -lol- and sounding/acting much older) this journey has truly been worth the Testimony that I have to share. I have no idea how much longer Chicago will be my town of testimony, or whats next to come. Yet, I REJOICE because God is my leader on this journey and nevertheless, I will follow...
